Biography: Artist statement
“To provide viewers freedom to find emotional meaning in the intangible by evoking the unconscious use of their own imagination.”  — Gayle Printz

Biography:
Gayle Printz is an Internationally recognized American Abstract Artist whose work is part of the Permanent Exhibit of Le Musée de Peinture de Saint-Frajou in France. Using color, rather than tangible structures, Ms. Printz creates paintings that transcend the familiar. She is famous for drawing the viewer in and inviting them to assign personal meaning and universal context by listening to the whispers of their imagination. Her paintings are known to have a magical quality; they can change completely depending upon the angle at which you gaze. As with life, the meaning in Ms. Printz’s work, depends upon the way you look at it.
Gayle Printz’s paintings have been lauded by critics and collectors of Abstract Art, Abstract Expressionism, Art-Resilience, Art Informel and Tachisme. Although she has developed a distinctively recognizable style, Ms. Printz has been compared to Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, Hans Hofmann, and Joan Mitchell.
Among other honors, Gayle Printz was one of eight American painters whose work was displayed in the Juried International Art-Resilience Exhibition in France during August and September 2020. In October 2020, four Printz paintings were displayed in The International ArtisTTable Exhibition through January 2021 and another was displayed in Fine Art America’s National “On the Beach” Exhibition. In November 2020, Gayle Printz was a Finalist in Grey Cube Gallery’s “International Artist’s Choice Exhibition” and two more paintings were on display in Helvet Art’s “RED Online Juried International Exhibition.” In December 2020, Ms. Printz was a Finalist in Fusion Art’s Juried International “Sixth Annual Colorful Abstractions Exhibition,” in Contemporary Art Gallery Online’s “2020 ALL COLORS” Exhibition, and in Art Show International’s “Landscape” Exhibition.
It has been said, that “Out of COVID-19, a prodigy was discovered,” and that “The isolation of Gayle Printz has been a universal gain for the Art World.” For, although it seems impossible to anyone who has seen her work, Gayle Printz picked up her first paintbrush in May of 2020.
