Biography: Greetings to the Team!
My name is Kateryna Brovkova. I am an artist, illustrator & fashion designer from Ukraine. I’m very proud and happy to be Ukrainian, even despite so painful trials for all Ukrainian people, that we are going through now.
Currently, I live in Munich, Germany. I was forced to temporarily relocate due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
I’m a participant and a winner of multiple arts and fashion competitions (FIDA WORLDWIDE, DRAWADOT). I have been working in the field of fashion & commercial illustration and design for many years, as well as working on graphic content for social networks, producing my own Illustration brands of prints and postcards in Ukraine, and being a part of worldwide fashion illustration and design community.
I have always paid attention to fashion details, patterns, textiles, and colors, starting from my parents’ clothes in the childhood
I was starting to draw starting 3 y.o age, and then, was learning to draw and express the forms and objects using different mediums and technics.
All my creative & business activities have always been related to design, fashion and art. Now, in the modern world, the need for sustainable fashion and reasonable consumption in common is more acute than ever. That is why I transferred part of my creativity to the digital medium. Translating fashion images in my art compilations, I appeal to the uniqueness and value of ideas, moving to chamber capsule collections.
I believe that art has the ability to transmit global values and be an influencer for the design and fashion industries.
And of course, art is the best way to emphasize your individuality and
give meaning, special feelings, and vibes to all your spaces – private or commercial.
Since I practice Kundalini Yoga, I’m working with creative, high-vibes vibrations, and good-feeling positive energies. So all of my art pieces are created when I’m happy and full of energy and put all that energy of love and growth into art.
Thus, I share not only my art but also good vibes from this art.

Bio:
Josey Jessee (b. 2000) is an artist and college student currently living in Savannah, GA. Jessee was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, until she left to attend college at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2018.
Thanks to her family, Jessee has been immersed in the fine arts since birth. Her mother is an art collector and her father a photographer. She was encouraged to create by her parents and, as such, has been making paintings since she was four. This art-positive environment ultimately led her to study many different art disciplines in college before finally settling on painting as her major.
Jessee mainly works with acrylic in abstract ways. She employs a strong use of color in her work, resulting in vibrant compositions. Besides traditional media, she has started to work with new media art, mainly digital and video.
Jessee graduated in the Summer of 2022 from SCAD with a BFA in Painting. Jessee is still deciding where she plans to move next. However, regardless of where she ends up, her cat Bread will be with her, and so will her art.
Statement:
As a young adult, having grown up with social media and advertising, I cannot help but become influenced by the idea that perfection is achievable. Growing up, I have constantly considered myself different or “other” from my peers. This inseparable part of my identity has caused me to strive for perfection throughout my life. If I was perfect, maybe I could blend into the crowd. If I were perfect, perhaps all my issues would lessen. The work I am creating is a visual representation of how the goal of trying to achieve perfection—in our work and in ourselves—is incompatible with the messiness of life.
I accomplish this in two ways: first, by using white acrylic panels that have been laser cut to create perfect geometric-shaped holes, and second, by creating abstract expressionist paintings on panels that represent the chaos in our lives. The process of assembling the works is part of the experience. While building my work, it becomes apparent that even the acrylic panel is not perfect. The closer you look, the more the defects stand out.
Ultimately I’ve come to realize that even perfection is flawed. By assembling these two components into a whole piece, the viewer is confronted with the abstract concept of perfectionism put into physical terms. I want viewers to consider how this concept of perfection affects their daily lives when viewing my work.

Biography: I am a multitasking Canadian / Brazilian professional artist, I am a member of the International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA). I was born in Sao Paulo (where I studied design and architecture).
For several years I taught how to draw and art history. I arrived in Canada in 2012, where I obtained another degree in Visual Arts at Laval University. I have lived and worked in Rouyn-Noranda, province of Quebec, since 2014. For several years I taught how to draw and art history. I arrived in Canada in 2012, where I obtained another degree in Visual Arts at Laval University. I have lived and worked in Rouyn-Noranda, province of Quebec, since 2014.
Among my multiple skills, the most important is illustration. Also, I have skills in photography, acrylic painting, watercolor, pastel, screen printing, lithography, wash-off, scratchboard, wood burning and some non conventional materials (such as eye shadows, for example). My work is very eclectic. In my journey, I explore different techniques (conventional and non conventional). My principal goal is illustration. I draw with pencils, brushes, wood burners and other tools. I look to create an impact on the public with my art. As a citizen of 2 countries, I don’t have any specific aesthetic. My work is at times realistic, at others surreal / abstract. I seek the perfection of images from the classical past combined with the attitude and abstraction of contemporary arts. The nature and complexity of human forms are my sources of inspiration. I use vibrant colors and strong contrasts on minimalist representations. My work is very luminous and vibrant. After the pandemics, I realized the world was really dark, almost miserable because of the situation. I canalized all negative energy at that moment and started to explore and research. Pandemics opened a new door for me, the world’s door. I started to know people from different parts of the planet and inspire my artwork on those people. All characters I had in my 2020 and 2021 production are inspired by real people from different countries. Ordinary people with real problems that never thought one day could be in an art piece.
At last, I draw what I see, what I feel and I do it with passion and instinct.

Biography: Negar Roshan, born on 6/6/1997 in Isfahan / Iran-with a degree in graphics and painting from Guilan University of Art and Architecture in 2020.
Her activity has been from 2009 until now (painting and photography)
And she is interested in surreal and abstract and linear designs.
Beyond our intellect and logic, there are worlds that sometimes communicate with us, Creatures that live in our world.
Some from our kind and some others from kinds that are probably unfamiliar to most of us;
Many of us, humans, cannot see them as we are unable to see inner nature and emotions of our fellowman. As technology develops, humans become blind and have lost existential truth of each other and even themselves;
As if we became blind…
A frightening scream in a world that all claim sight, is complicated, while the most blind humans where those who didn’t want to see not others who couldn’t see.
Ultimately, this blindness influences everyone and takes consciousness and cognition from people in one moment, and then there’s no culture and no humanity. Technology won’t work anymore and fear and shock fills the heart of any human and will lead him to the dark like his eyes.

Biography: Why do I do my art? A valid question I suppose. The best reason I have been able to come up with is that I love to create! There is just something so fulfilling about getting lost in the process of creating…time stands still. To be able to look at an image, object or scene and recreate it on canvas or paper in the most realistic way that I can. Being able to share with someone what I’ve captured on the canvas or paper brings me so much satisfaction.

Artist Statement:
It is difficult to orient yourself toward the world and towards your aspirations as a graphics artist. The endless softwares, hardwares, grids, and codes out there make it that much more complex for one to relate a particular feeling or state of mind to their audience, and since my mood towards the world is in a constant flux, this complexity is tripled, and most of the time it is inescapably overwhelming.
At this very moment, I believe my experiments in design reflect that dual complexity of tech and emotional discharge. At the very least, my designs are an unconscious accumulation of both of these things. I use this dynamic often while I am in the works of a project. Some days this works to my strategic advantage and others not so much, but I firmly believe that this principle guides not only my work, but my very being. The balance that seems to always help bridge these conflicting principles is the usage of typography and letterform.
It is the love of written word and the obsession with design principles that join to work with the conflicts mentioned previously. Those clashing ideas are brought forward in such a way as to explain how I am feeling towards the world, my world, and the influence each one has on the other.
As a student, I am still learning the process, still engaging in those basic principles that others seem to have conquered so easily, and applying my newfound understandings to my works. I am constantly being challenged by new processes and so my hope is that while I am feeling the process out, that challenge and daring pokes forth from my works.

Biography: Dr. Heiens is an accomplished international artist whose colorful abstract expressionist works never fail to solicit an emotional reaction from the viewer. Using color intensity and simplicity of composition, his works make a big impact without crowding the canvas. His paintings have a wonderful balance and handling of the acrylics and are intended to catch the eye of the beholder with their colors and shapes which tell a story. His paintings have a balance of color composition warm/cold/neutral with a mix of different round and edged components.
What I paint could be a landscape, an abstract or cubist design or even a combination of all three. A landscape with cubist elements would not be unusual. Most of my work is semi-abstract so that viewers can see what I see on the canvas. Each art piece often consists of multiple styles and themes based on the research I have done and new areas of interest that lead to the next body of work. Interest and thoughts give life to shapes, arrangement, and color. Color is the main emphasis in all of my paintings. My paintings all have the richest and deepest colors I can achieve. The desire to bring out the brightest colors in my art stem from the paintings of Van Gogh. He used color to entice the viewer to want to look deeper into his paintings. Van Gogh stated, “the painter of the future will be a colorist in a way no one has seen before.” That is my goal and reason for painting.

Biography: Artists bio: Danielle Dewberry is a mixed media artist based in Kennesaw, Georgia who specializes in design. She first became interested in art around the age of 10, taking inspiration from her favorite cartoons, she created her own characters and realized her true passion. Through character design and illustration, she explores concepts and emotion in visual form. Her pieces range from digital works, to small scale illustrations and paintings and consist of bright vibrant colors and detailed linework. With a more gritty aesthetic, her characters and designs are rough cut and draw inspiration from alternative culture. In the future, Danielle plans to become a tattoo artist and continue spreading her works for a wide audience to see.
Statement: This piece is a play on color and movement. Using a combination of abstraction and portraiture, I wanted to create something bold and complex. I wanted the design to feel as if it was going to break through the panel of the realm which this captain resides into our own making it sort of interactive with the viewer.

Ulf Koenig’s Biography:
Ulf Koenig lives in the City of Ulm, south of Germany. Since 2004 he works as a self-educated freelance artist and designer. Ulf’s artworks mainly address technology and architecture, reflecting his background in R&D-management. During his career as an artist he has participated in around 50 solo- and group-exhibitions in Europe, Canada, USA, received 12 honors and awards, and has published in 6 art-magazines. In order to combine fine art with novel technologies, Ulf has founded 2 interdisciplinary artists collectives.
Ulf Koenig’s Statement
Art meets Architecture and Physics! Ulf’s sculptures of his series “deformed architecture” – including the head-high wall sculptures “Complex City Complexes” – are composed of tilted space bodies. They are inspired by worldwide extraordinary designs of leaning skyscrapers like the “Puerta de Europa, Madrid”, the “Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi”, and by a lot of related architects concepts, furthermore by modern densely built skyscraper complexes like the “Moscow International Business Center”.
An essential feature of Ulf’s sculptures results from applying physics aspect: if one would fly with a very high, relativistic speed towards skyscrapers one would see the buildings just in such extreme inclinations as the elements in the artworks. This distinctive accentuation of a three-dimensionality shall stimulate art-lovers to walk around the sculptures, to experience the aesthetics and the dynamic of the composition and to play with perspectives.
The style of the wall sculptures is constructivist, in terms of strictly geometrical forms and primary colors, in addition to black and white which match or alternatively contrast to the artwork’s background.

Art Statement
For me, creating means breathing. This is a real ritual of diving into my own worlds and parallel realities. For me, creating means freedom. This is a ritual of traveling through the Universe and of feeling the gods watching us. For me, creating means the interaction of energies and subtle matters, meanings, symbols, colours, pigments, lines and canvases. It means fusion of ancientry, of the present and of the future, it means combination of higher materia and inner demons. For me, creating means my way of touching mystery and magic, that we often overlook in our daily lives.

Biography: From the day I stepped out of undergraduate school in 1974 until the present day, I have always worked almost exclusively with acrylic on canvas, or occasionally on masonite or paper. On occasion, I draw. I have always worked using unconventional methods, as well. This has not been for purposes of being different for different’s sake but in order to express what I want (need?) to express. Most recently, I have been slinging paint from ultra-fine straight pins, at very high speed, onto canvas. The mark created by doing this just blew me away the first time I made it. Its defining characteristic is electric energy, but the incredibly fine nature of the mark is also striking.
My work has always been inspired by an interest in physics, both sub-atomic and cosmological. This drawing was inspired by images of sub-atomic particles.

The Latest News About Fred Bugs And His Future NFT Project
Fred Bugs often called F.B. Infante or simply F.B. is an Italian abstract artist best known in the US for his spontaneous figurative drawings, he is a synonym of attention to every visual representation. Fred Bugs’ works are a mix of abstract art with childlike and primitive emotions. Fred Bugs, as the name is interesting is also derived from Federico Cabras, a fascinating individual artist. He was born in 1997 in the Sardinian village of Bosa, which has 8,000 residents and is located in the province of Oristano, As Fred says, art has been a massive part of his life ever since he started making drawings in his school. He did so partly due to boredom and because he wasn’t much of an extroverted person with an edgy character.

Fred Bugs’ works from the first decade of the 2000s to the current day are all characterized by continuous experimentation, imagination, and innovation. Throughout the years, Fred Bugs has also created many works, mainly on paper and cardboard, using pastels or mixed media. During this period his works became very popular, especially the series of Buffo drawings. Seeing Fred’s work, one can easily recognize that these are his. His artistic creations show a vision made up of figures which seem to come out from an unknown place and also the ones that tell contradictions and emotionality of the society. His choice of colors and the way he uses the color red in light or the darker shades of yellow, green, and black and having an addition of light or dark blue shows you when you are looking at his craft: (he often represents abstract birds and dragons in colorful geometric places or landscapes). When you look at Fred’s work, you can immediately tell that it is his creation. He has a particular style and expression that sets his work apart from others. His artistic creation shows a consistent vision in paintings that seem to come from an unknown place and also conveys the contradictions and emotions of society, especially the famous little dragons that move in different scenarios. The work of Fred Bugs also stands out for the choice of color palette and the artist’s ability to give emotion to the faces he creates makes it even fresher natural and special. Fred Bugs has participated in several exhibitions and became known at an international exhibition in Venice, where his work “Don’t judge me” was shown. He has also worked to make his works, including mixed media drawings, available to the public. The artist has always been a great follower of abstract figurative art from the second half of the 19th century to today. His unorthodox works and style are significantly more well-liked by the worldwide public than by his local Italian audience, and the European collecting public greatly values him. But still, he is very much appreciated in his homeland. He keeps on giving importance to some values like knowledge against the banality or a lack of artistic and human personality and emotion.
There have been many occasions when his art has attracted a large audience. His abstract work brings together geometric art, surrealism, and infantile primitivism, the author does not follow what is fashionable in art he has always kept his style and his spontaneous figures; He has been drawing for ten years, making his work recognizable on all platforms. He never stopped creating since he realized it would be difficult for others to recognize him through his art because he came from a small far-off village.
since 2021 the artist has been engaged together with other European figurative artists in the promotion and distribution of figurative art in the form of posters and stickers ready to be exhibited in museums and important European city districts. Recently he will also be creating Non-Fungible (NFT) artworks (special editions) for various online galleries in the near future.

What is contemporary art?
There are many types of art around the world. Each is different and characterized by various elements.
One type of art is contemporary art.
Here is what you need to know about this type, how to differentiate it from other styles, and so forth. Shall we get started?
Meaning of contemporary art
Contemporary art is a broad term for art produced in the last 50 years. It has been subject to many changes and developments, including using new materials and techniques and an increasing emphasis on the subject matter.
Contemporary art can be found in many different forms.
Some artists specialize in one particular contemporary art form, while others are more likely to experiment with different styles and media. Most artists enroll in a contemporary art licensing agency before selling their artworks.
Forms of contemporary art
Contemporary art is a broad umbrella term encompassing many types of work. The seven forms of this type of art include the following:
1- Painting
Painting is one of the most common forms of contemporary art. This art form has existed for centuries and is still an ongoing practice today.
Painting is a medium used by artists to express their emotions and experiences and represent something else. Many different techniques can be used to create paintings—from drawing with ink and paint on paper to painting on canvas or wooden panels to painting with spray paint on a wall!
Today’s popular subject matter includes nature scenes, animals, portraits (both realistic and abstract), landscapes, and all kinds of urban settings.
2- Sculpture
This is a form of art in which an object is formed by shaping or combining hard materials. Sculptures can be three-dimensional or two-dimensional and can be static or dynamic. A sculpture is an object created, in any material, by the union of at least one form of metal (such as bronze) with plaster of Paris. The term sculpture covers the physical objects and artworks made from them.
3- Architecture
Architecture is a form of contemporary art that utilizes the design and creation of buildings, space, and spaces within buildings to express ideas, feelings, and concepts.
Architecture can be applied to any medium and used to create art in any form. Buildings can be built through various methods, including the use of building materials such as concrete and steel, or they can be constructed using other means such as stone or wood.
4- Poetry
Poetry is a form of contemporary art characterized by its ability to express an individual’s innermost thoughts and the way that many different people can read them.
Poetry can be found in many forms, including haiku, sonnets, or free verse. Poets use these forms to express their feelings about life uniquely. The poems in poetry are usually short and easy to read; they can be as short as two lines or as long as twenty-four lines.
5- Music
This has always been an essential part of Western culture, but there were fewer formalized ways for musicians to express themselves before modern music began being created in the late 20th century.
Today, musicians use many different media types to create their work: they can make music using traditional instruments like violins or drums and make songs using computers.
6- Literature
This is a form of art that uses language to create a work of art.
Literature is not limited to books or stories. It can also be found in other forms, including poems, plays, and novels.
7- Dance
Dance can be used to express the artist’s feelings, ideas, and even political beliefs. Dance may also be used to communicate with others more efficiently than through verbal speech or writing.
The best way to understand dance is to watch it performed by an expert dancer. You can see how the dancer moves their body in such a way as to tell a story or communicate an idea.
Conclusion
Contemporary art has improved dramatically in the last few decades. The forms of contemporary art are constantly evolving and changing, with new styles being introduced each year.
What to Consider when buying a second hand camera
As a consumer, it’s your responsibility to check and confirm that you are buying a product that meets or exceeds your expectations. You need to consider the price. Is the price too low for the item? If it’s unreasonably low, there may be something amiss. If a deal looks too good, it typically is. This is especially true if you are buying it sight unseen like most online purchases.
Here are some of the top things you need to check for when you are buying second-hand or surplus equipment:
1. The Camera Body
The first thing you want to check for is the body of the camera. You want to consider the condition of the camera body. Is it dented? Is it scuffed? If there is a lot of physical damage to the body, you can bet that the camera was dropped and mishandled. This is a major red flag. You also want to unscrew the cap to check for the lens area. You’ll want to look at the mirror and focus screen too. Try to see if there is any residual oil there.
You want to look closely at all of the screens and other sensitive areas of the camera. You don’t want to find any signs of oil because it could dictate that the internals of the camera are faulty. Try to position the camera facing downwards and use a flashlight to look inside.
2. Shutter Count
The shutter on a camera can be compared to a car’s mileage. You want to check to see how many times the shutter has been used. This can tell you how often the camera was used. It’s always best to avoid buying a camera that has a high shutter count especially if it’s consumer-grade equipment. Cameras that are meant for consumers aren’t meant to last nearly as long as professional-grade equipment.
3. Sensors
You want to check the sensors too. You can take a test shot with the camera between f16 and f22. Try to shoot at the sky. You’ll want to zoom out and zoom in to check if there are any noticeable blemishes that you can see. You can check for anything from lines to scratches to see if the sensor has been damaged.
4. Lenses
It’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the lenses show signs of scuffing or wear on the outer shell. However, you want to ensure the lenses continue to fit tightly. You also want them to turn smoothly. It’s a good idea to check for any internal fogging as it can tell you if there are smears inside and you also want to ensure there is no dust trapped inside. You can connect the lenses directly to the camera body and test them out. You want the autofocus to lock on quickly. If it takes a long time, there could be something wrong.
5. Aperture Blades
You want to check the aperture blades. You can do this by pushing the lever that’s at the rear end of the lenses. Some lenses do not have these. However, if they do, you’ll want it to operate smoothly.
6. Focus Sharpness
It’s always a good idea to check for the sharpness of the photos it takes. You can use a test chart to do this easily. You’ll want to place the chart directly on a wall and place the camera on a still surface like a tripod. From there, you can take some shots using a remote or self-timer. Once you have the shots, zoom in and see if it focuses properly.
7. Mold
You want to avoid buying any equipment that has been overly used in humid environments. Humidity can be a real problem for camera equipment. The lenses likely have mold and fungus if they have been exposed to them for too long. Look for web-like patterns on the lenses to check for this.
8. Second-Hand Accessories
You are going to want to check to see if the camera comes with all of the much-needed accessories that you will be using. This includes all of the charging cables, lens caps, and more. It’s always a good idea to find cameras that come with even more after-market or officially branded accessories. However, it’s not necessary. It can save you money, however.
You’ll want to ensure all of the accessories are compatible. You want the flashes and everything to work with the intended model.
9. How To Test The Equipment
It’s always a good idea to start taking as many shots as you can in different lighting conditions and more. You want to take over 100 shots. Try to shoot some macro shots, some medium-range, and some long-range shots. See if everything comes out to your liking.
10. Refurbished Lenses
It’s always possible to score some great deals on refurbished lenses. Buying any camera equipment second-hand can save you a lot of money. However, you do need to know what to look out for and what to avoid. Use the tips in this article to save plenty of money that you can use to get great photography equipment at massive savings.
