Learn more about follow your art organization:

Follow your Art is a non-profit initiative designed to help support artists and art workers. It’s an initiative of Sana Ouchtati, supported by Ziad Erraiss and Eva Blaute. What started off as an act of cross-border solidarity in an immediate response to the precarious conditions of artists and art workers during the first weeks of the covid-19 spread, gradually shifted towards a more sustainable approach.

Follow Your Art is a non-profit initiative on a completely voluntary basis, run by a small team of cultural professionals based in Brussels and Tunis. What started off as an act of cross-border solidarity in an immediate response to the precarious conditions of artists and art workers during the first weeks of the covid-19 spread, gradually shifted towards a more sustainable approach.

In the first phase Follow Your Art supported 15 artists based in 3 countries (Belgium, Italy, and Tunisia) with a grant (500 €) to cover basic needs through a crowdfunding campaign. In the second phase Follow Your Art offers professional accompaniment to emerging artists in a spirit of entrepreneurship. Based on artistic proposals formulated by artists who applied in the first phase, FYA will accompany the trajectory of the selected projects so as to strengthen the artists’ international multi-sectorial network by tightly linking the artistic project to potential funders and strategic/financial partners, thus creating pan-European awareness and solidarity.

Follow Your Art believes tailor-made support, targeted facilitation, and mentorship for artists in partnership with European and Mediterranean key stakeholders in the sector are key to revive cultural life in post-Covid times.
