The Sunny Art Prize is sponsored by Art Council England and has established itself as one of the UK’s most prestigious international art competitions. The scope of this contemporary art prize is about sourcing the most talented artists from all over the world, both established and emerging, who produce ground-breaking and innovative artworks. We select artists who work with a wide range of media, making the art prize a varied and stimulating global platform to engage with critical contemporary issues and topics. The art competition is open to everyone, regardless of location or preferred medium and theme.

Every year, we shortlist 30 artists, among whom we select three winners. All the shortlisted artists have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Sunny Art Centre, London, a prestigious art institution with an extraordinary collection of old masters and artworks by leading contemporary artists. The winners, alongside seven other artists chosen from the shortlist, have the chance to exhibit their work with our partnering galleries in China. The exhibiting galleries are located in cities across China, such as Beijing and Shanghai. They are amongst the leading art institutions in the Asian art market.

This art contest also gives the art prize-winners the chance to experience a one-month artist residency in China. The Artist Residency Programme is organised in collaboration with established Chinese art institutions, and it provides the opportunity to engage with historically and culturally rich places in China.

The competition is open to anyone.

Short description
Artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs, students are asked to submit their interpretation of the theme “enriching lives through diversity and inclusion.”

“ Embracing Our Differences invites you to participate in creating a world where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated. Become a part of this exciting change through your visual art or creative writing submission to the annual Embracing Our Differences juried competition.

Your art must be HORIZONTAL in orientation. Click here to download templates for creating Embracing Our Differences artwork in the proper dimensions.

There is no limit on the number of submissions.

Entry fees
The competition is free to enter.

Prizes
A total of $3,000 will be presented in the form of three separate awards – $1,000 each for “Best-in-Show Adult”, “Best-in-Show Student” and the “People’s Choice”.

50 submissions will be selected for inclusion in the exhibit. The exhibit will be displayed at Bayfront Park in downtown Sarasota, Florida, USA.

NEOTERIC ABSTRACT X This call is for a thematic exhibition dedicated to abstract art. Have you ever wondered if your art is good enough? 

There is no secret that most of the artists have this inner dialogue where they ask questions and compare their work with those of their idols and this brings a lot of confusion and anxiety- “Is My Work Good Enough, Is It Contemporary”?

Well- any work of art in any style has the potential to become great even a simple line on a piece of paper and even the great artists that are now Legends had the same questions during their life. 

The purpose of this exhibition is to create a dialogue between artists, artworks and the audience and to demonstrate that any form of art in any style can be successful. 

This Exhibition Will Take Place At Our Newly Opened Space In Tower Bridge. 

The new space is located in Tower bridge, one of most iconic places in the world and the most visited place in the whole UK. 

The space is nestled between modern and classic London icons: The Shard 4 minutes away, Tower Bridge 1 minute away, London Bridge 2 minutes away. 

With a blend of traditional Victorian brick walls and a central private bar just for our audience, the space is unique in the whole city of London. 

There are no subject restrictions just a couple of guidelines.

– artworks delivery date is 16 December. 

– the exhibition will run from 17 December until 23 December with a private view on 17 December – 6:00 to 9:00 pm at our gallery space in Tower Bridge London. 

Alternatives. 

We had a lot of enquires from foreign artists to exhibit with us but sometimes shipping the work to London in time might be a bit difficult in this challenging period, that’s why we’ve come up with an alternative! If you are one of the accepted artists and you find it hard to ship your work to us, you can send us photos of your work and we can print and frame it for you at no additional cost.

For this art exhibition in USA, Las Laguna Art Gallery asked artists to interpret and depict outdoor scenery, and geographical environments’ including Landscapes or Seascapes.​

Landscapes traditionally include natural scenery such mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests, especially where the main subject is a wide view – with its elements arranged into a coherent composition. In other works, landscape backgrounds for figures can still form an important part of the work.

Seascapes can include geographical features such as shorelines, beaches, oceans, as well as include structures such as lighthouses or lifeguard shacks.​​

For abstract works landscapes can include colors, shapes or mark making that expresses the concept or idea of landscapes.​

Note: All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website and to our client list.  A select number of artists will be selected to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at our brick and mortar gallery in Laguna Beach, California.Deadline: 01/30/2022

‘MODUS’ art exhibition London is now accepting submissions.

The Holy Art is a London based gallery, curating virtual and physical art exhibitions in the UK and abroad. It invites artists to exhibit their work in our Gallery in London through our Open Calls. We give opportunities to artists from any background to participate and promote their work.

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any medium. (painting, photography, printmaking, video art, installation, films, sculpting, mixed media, poems, illustration etc). The theme of the exhibition is OPEN.

The digital culture platform Culture365 and the Pocket Star Gallery organise and curate an art exhibition dedicated to creators who express themselves through the depiction and representation of portraits, through painting, photography, sketching and/or other media.

The works of art, after selection, will be presented digitally in a virtual exhibition from November 20 to December 20 and in printed form in a three-day exhibition at the Pocket Star Gallery Lycabettus from December 17 to December 19.
