Artist residency in Ireland
In light of the current situation, we are now accepting applications on an ongoing basis. We also request the artist to adhere to government guidelines. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. Spaces are filling up quickly, so please send your application as soon as possible. However, there are many last-minute cancellations due to the current situation, so if your thinking of a last-minute residency, give us a call; we may have space.
We provide a studio space that has been converted from an old fish factory that is suitable for all types of artists and is very versatile. We also provide a living area for the artists, three people at a time. Each Cottage is newly refurbished with 3 large rooms with a living space with a kitchenette and is only one minute walk to the studio.
The Space has beautiful undisturbed views of the river Corrib and fields surround the studio. Which makes it a perfect location for an artist that wants a break and a place to escape and have some time to think, relax, and do work.
The residency hosts 1-4 artists and has proven to be a great place to meet and work with international artists and local artists.

Fees and support
We do not provide funding at this point. We charge 750 euros per month, which includes all bills and a private room and wifi. Also, access to the Cleggan pier cottage depending on availability.
Expectations towards the artist
Artist Talk, Open house, and option to be included in an exhibition.
