Art contest for artists living in Belgium 2022
ArtContest (asbl), created in 2005, is the annual contemporary art competition of reference for young Belgian artists or artists residing in Belgium aged 35 maximum .
This competition, founded and directed by Valérie Boucher, attached to the emerging artistic scene, aims to reveal, follow and support the work of young contemporary artists over the long term.
Its philosophy consists in contributing to their development and encouraging reflection on their practices and their positions, as artists, in today’s society.

Prizes:
– National Lottery Prize: 2 prizes worth €2,500.
– Sabam Prize: a prize worth €3,000
– Botanique Prize : an individual exhibition at Botanique in 2023.
– Intermondes/ArtContest Prize : a 2-month residency at the Center Intermondes in La Rochelle in 2024, accompanied by support to the production of 750€ and ArtContest prize , a grant of 1,500€ for the residency.
– CAB Foundation Prize : a one-month residency in Brussels or Saint Paul de Vence and a grant of €1,500. –
– City of Brussels Prize : an individual exhibition in the Centrale.box at the Centrale for contemporary art in 2023 and a production grant of €1,000.
– Cadr’art Prize : a check worth €1,000 for equipment
