NY20+ and R.A.R.O. Barcelona have announced the 2026 China–Barcelona Exchange Residency Grant, created to strengthen artistic and cultural dialogue between Chengdu and Catalonia.

The organisers are seeking 3 visual artists who are residents of Catalonia, of any nationality and discipline, to participate in a one-month residency at NY20+ (Chengdu, China) during June or July 2026.

Eligibility

The programme invites visual artists of all nationalities, ages, and disciplines who are residents of Catalonia to apply. Artists can be working in painting, sculpture, installation, video, or any other medium. The focus is on artists who are eager to explore and expand their practice through international collaboration and cross-cultural exchange.

Support

  • One-month residency during the months of June or July 2026.
