The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried award to recognize outstanding practices by contemporary emerging and mid-career artists working in any media. The Prize is open to artists residing anywhere in the world with limited exceptions, and the deadline to register is September 26, 2022.
One honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant and studio visits with each of the distinguished jurors. In addition, the honoree and three shortlisted artists will each be interviewed as part of the Foundwork Dialogues program to further public engagement with their work.

Call for submission, Art exhibition in Venice Italy, ITSLIQUID Group
ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with Venice Events, ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association, and EGO’ Boutique Hotel is pleased to announce the open call for VISIONS, third appointment of ANIMA MUNDI 2022, that will take place in Venice at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello from June 16 to July 06, 2022, at Palazzo Bembo – Venice Grand Canal from June 17 to July 06, 2022, and at THE ROOM Contemporary Art Space from June 18 to July 06, 2022, during the 59th Venice Biennale of Art.
The festival focuses on the concept of ANIMA MUNDI, which according to several historical cultures, religions and philosophical systems, is an intrinsic connection between all living entities on the planet, which relates to the world in a similar way as the human soul is connected to the human body.
ANIMA MUNDI consists of 3 main events: RITUALS (April/May), CONSCIOUSNESS (May/June) and VISIONS.
We are now selecting artists for:
– VISIONS from June 16 to July 06, 2022, at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, from June 17 to July 06, 2022, at Palazzo Bembo – Venice Grand Canal and at THE ROOM Contemporary Art Space from June 18 to July 06, 2022.

Artists interested in taking part in our shows are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representatives; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more events.

Online Art residency for artists worldwide ‘Wildcraft program’
Wildcraft is a two week webinar for artists interested in harvesting materials from the wild. The program will offer daily video lectures and chats with nine experienced foragers about their techniques for collecting and processing materials from nature. We will also hear from the seven artists in the class about their art practices. Built in to the 2 – 2.5 hours of daily programming are discussions, demonstrations, recommended assignments and show and tell. Participants are invited to also have short daily one-on-one meetings with our director and the other residents in the group.

Medicinal Plants – Foraging for wild remedies

Awakenings at Wick is a self-directed programme. We welcome all medium all we ask is that you bring your own tools and equipment.
Download and complete the application form and return with a signed copy of The Four Agreements. Once we receive your application form, the team will review it and let you know if you are through to the next stage which is to contact your referees.
Awakenings at Wick is designed to embrace all those who have a deep connection to creating, to the earth and the power that sets you free through self expression.
We want to welcome anyone to this self directed programme who needs the space and freedom to produce their next work.
