About the Artwork:
I see something in the world; I capture it in that moment and then bring it back to life in my studio. My goal is to relay that moment to the viewer with my unique perspective. In this case, it was a fairly boring photo of a seagull on the beach at Low Tide. After starting a watercolor, I abstracted the image and added details with colored pencils.
