About the Artwork: 

I see something in the world; I capture it in that moment and then bring it back to life in my studio. My goal is to relay that moment to the viewer with my unique perspective. In this case, a close-up of a Lionfish creates a distinctive pattern. The fish’s white stripes reflect the blue water. It might even take you a minute to comprehend what you are seeing.
