Biography: Cesar Vianna is a multi task Canadian / Brazilian professional artist, he is a member of the International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA). He comes from the city of Sao Paulo (where he studied design and architecture).

For several years he taught how to draw and art history. He arrived atCanada in 2012, where he obtained another degree in Visual Arts at Laval University. He has lived and works in Rouyn-Noranda, province of Quebec, since 2014.

Among his multiple skills, the most important is illustration. Also, he has skills in photography, acrylic painting, watercolor, screen printing, lithography, linocut, wash-off, scratchboard and wood burning. His work is very eclectic. In his journey, he tries to explore the different techniques and his principal strength is the illustration. He draws with pencils, brushes, wood burners, tools and graphic tablet. His goal is to impact the public with his art.

His work is at times realistic, at others surreal / abstract. The artist seeks the perfection of images from the classical past combined with the attitude and abstraction of contemporary arts. The nature and complexity of human forms are its sources of inspiration. He loves to draw and he has a particular interest to combine traditional and digital techniques. Since 2013 he has participated in several individual and group exhibitions in Canada (Quebec), in Italy, in England and in the USA (New York). Also, he won prizes at drawing and photography competitions.
