Arts Letters & Numbers was founded in 2011. At that point the summer workshop was the driving force of the organization. 4- SALOMON FOUNDATION RESIDENCY AWARD IN BROOKLYN USA

Since 2015, the Claudine and Jean-Marc Salomon Foundation for Contemporary Art has initiated a residency program in the form of a prize (Salomon Foundation Residency Award) in Brooklyn, USA.

This program allows an artist under the age of 35 from one of the member countries of the International Organization of La Francophonie, to benefit from a 6-month residency in New York, including the provision a workshop at ISCP and a scholarship of 24,000 USD.

Light Work invites 12-15 artists to participate in its residency program for the year 2023. In fact, artists selected for the residency program are invited to live in Syracuse for one month. Moreover, they receive a $5,000 stipend, an apartment to stay in, a private digital studio, a private darkroom.
